During the results auditing process of the 2017 World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest, an error was detected in the tabulation of the Dutch Oven Dessert awards.

 

Due to the error, the incorrect winners were announced. Official 2017 Dutch Oven Dessert winners are:

DUTCH OVEN

  • Champion – 100.3 The Bull
  • First Runner Up – Houston Proud Yeller Bellies
  • Second Runner Up – Willis Group

“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this error,” said Joel Cowley, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo president. “We extend our congratulations to the winners.”

 

This tabulation error had no effect on the other previously announced results from the 2017 World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest.
