Since its beginning in 1932, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has committed more than $575 million to Texas youth and education.

ANNUAL REPORTS

Started as the Houston Fat Stock Show in 1932, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has grown to become the world’s largest charitable production of its kind.

RODEO HISTORY

Since the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo was established, it has made an impressive footprint on the livestock and entertainment industries and in the sport of rodeo. It also has played a notable role in enhancing the lives of thousands of young people in the state of Texas.

How do I apply for Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Media Credentials?

You must apply using our online application form. Please note, the credential application form will open on January 15 for the current Show.

I covered a previous Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Do I have to apply again?

Yes. Media credentials issued at previous Rodeo’s do not remain valid. Members of the press must be credentialed each year. A detailed explanation of planned coverage and/or a new letter of assignment will be required each year.

What is required to apply for media credentials?
