"I love working for the Rodeo because it has always been a major part of my life and a goal of mine to be involved. My family started exhibiting Brangus cattle at the show in the mid-60’s. My aunts and uncles all had breed champions in the Brangus heifer show during that time, with some of those genetics still being in our herd today. My favorite part of the Livestock Show growing up was attending the open Brahman and Brangus Shows. Seeing the cattle in the stalls, watching the show, and dreaming about someday exhibiting the Grand Champion Brangus Bull myself. Today, I get to do one better. With my involvement, I get to make the dreams exhibitors like me come true and play a part in the history of all the champions that are named in Houston."

"As a software developer, I help different departments in the Rodeo do their processes in an automated and more efficient way. With web and desktop solutions that I have written, departments have been able to tremendously contribute to the mission of the Rodeo. The solutions that I have written make the Rodeo customers interact with Rodeo efficiently and that helps us continue a successful path to serve the people of Texas.

Rodeo's mission is a very noble one. Helping the youth of Texas, providing scholarship for their education and helping promote the Agriculture and Livestock industry of Texas are all causes that make a massive positive impact on the lives of people living in Texas. "Being part of HLSR in my role is meaningful because I play a part in cutting our Scholarship checks that so many scholars depend on to continue their college journey. I also cut checks to all of our vendors that help our show go round. I love being a part of this huge machine that can’t quite operate without the help of so many team members.
