Includes the renaming of popular outdoor stage – The Junction Stage

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is pleased to announce an enhanced partnership with Woodside Energy, as the new presenting sponsor of The Junction Stage (formerly the Stars Over Texas Stage). This exciting collaboration represents a significant milestone in the shared commitment to providing exceptional entertainment and community engagement opportunities for Rodeo guests.

The Junction Stage, presented by Woodside Energy, features family-friendly entertainment and serves as the gathering place for several community events.

In addition to a wide variety of daily attractions and activities, the Rodeo released a nightly concert lineup for The Junction Stage featuring local favorites and rising stars.

Rodeo guests are invited to join Woodside Energy for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at The Junction Stage on February 27th at 4:00 p.m., to officially unveil the new name. The event will also feature a live performance by Scotty Alexander.

“We are thrilled to deepen our partnership with Woodside Energy through the sponsorship and renaming of The Junction Stage,” said Chris Boleman, Rodeo president and CEO. “The stage has long been a cornerstone of the Rodeo experience, and we are grateful to Woodside Energy for their continued support in ensuring its continued success.”

“Woodside Energy is proud to support RODEOHOUSTON and to be part of the Houston community where so many of our team members live and work,” said Shiva McMahon, Executive Vice President International Operations for Woodside. “We are excited to continue our partnership with the Rodeo to provide a platform for community engagement and culture, and to support education for Texas youth.”
