The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ is proud to welcome Grange by Johnson Development as a new Official Sponsor of the RODEOHOUSTON® Chuckwagon Races. The new partnership runs through the 2028 Rodeo season, with Grange also becoming a first-time supporter of the Rodeo’s Horse Show.

Grange is a Johnson Development community in Katy, Texas, built on the developer’s more than 50-year history of creating master-planned communities with purpose. Since 1975, Johnson Development has focused on developing neighborhoods where families can connect, build relationships and enjoy a strong sense of community.

“We are excited to welcome Grange as a new partner and bring together two organizations with a strong commitment to community,” said Chris Boleman, president and CEO of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. “Their sponsorship of the Chuckwagon Races will help us continue a fan-favorite tradition that celebrates the excitement, authenticity and enduring spirit of Western heritage throughout each night of the 20-day Rodeo season.”

As the Official Sponsor of the RODEOHOUSTON Chuckwagon Races, Grange will take over one of the competing chuckwagons in Reliant Stadium, bringing the brand directly into the fast-paced action of the nightly races. Guests can also experience Grange through a Virtual Chuckwagon activation in Reliant Center, an interactive experience that blends Western heritage and friendly competition. Participants can saddle up, take the reins and be transported onto the rodeo dirt for a two-lap virtual race and the chance to win prizes.

The partnership will also extend to the Rodeo’s Horse Show in Reliant Arena, where Grange will receive recognition throughout the event through arena and LED signage, public address announcements and social media. The Horse Show features hundreds of events for contestants of all ages, with competitions showcasing horsemanship, speed and agility and traditional ranch skills.

“We are thrilled to begin our partnership with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and become part of the excitement surrounding the Chuckwagon Races,” said Jacob W. Rice, Vice President and General Manager of Grange. “Grange is a community built around bringing people together, and the Rodeo shares that same spirit of connection, tradition and family. We look forward to creating memorable experiences for Rodeo guests and celebrating what makes the Greater Houston community such a special place to call home.”
