Since its beginning in 1932, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has committed more than $600 million to Texas youth and education.

Started as the Houston Fat Stock Show in 1932, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has grown to become the world’s largest charitable production of its kind.

How do I apply for Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Media Credentials?

Applications for the 2024 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo are now closed.

I covered a previous Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Do I have to apply again?

Yes. Media credentials issued at previous Rodeo’s do not remain valid. Members of the press must be credentialed each year. A detailed explanation of planned coverage and/or a new letter of assignment will be required each year.

What is required to apply for media credentials?
