Hot Nashville Cheeto Chicken Sandwich or on a Stick : Nashville Hot sauce on extra crispy chicken with slaw on a toasted brioche bun. Nashville Hot chicken on a stick is smothered in cheese sauce and rolled in Hot Cheetos and topped with crisp pickles. Available at Biggy’s II.

Fruity Pebbles Shrimp Fried Rice Bowl: Delicious fried rice, with fruity pebbles shrimp, sausage and pineapple served hot and fresh in our delicious, hollowed pineapple. Available at Get Fried.

Honolulu Hog Spud: Baked tater stuffed with pulled pork, teriyaki BBQ sauce, pineapple, and sesame seeds. Available at Spud Ranch BBQ.

NEW CARNIVAL RIDES

Raptor Coaster:  Get ready for a roar of a ride! Spectacular high speed thrill roller coaster with extreme inversions, sharp bends, twists & turns! Its fantastic Jurassic theme is sure to please!

Sea Ray: Ahoy Matey, all aboard – it’s swinging time! This spectacular new pirate themed ship swinger is a memorable ride that families can enjoy together with its fantastic smooth swinging motion. It is fun for the whole family!

FAN ZONE PHOTO OPPORTUNITY – NRG STADIUM

Check out the Fan Zone, presented by Texas Farm Bureau Insurance, featuring a new photo opportunity inside NRG Stadium. Fans will get to create a personalized ‘player card’ where they can customize their name and have it sent directly to their phone. Fans will still have the opportunity to take photos and get autographs from the cowboys and cowgirls. The Fan Zone is located on the main concourse level, in section 124. The second Fan Zone is located in section 103. Rodeo ticket required for entrance into NRG Stadium.

DRONE SHOW

Take part in the first ever drone light show at the Rodeo as we celebrate our western heritage! The 200 drones will soar through the sky in different formations, creating impressive visuals that embody what the Rodeo stands for. The glowing technological display will start at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 4 over NRG Arena. We look forward to this one-of-a-kind show as we light up the sky!

CASHLESS PAYMENT OPTIONS

  • All NRG Park parking lots will be cashless. There are several lots surrounding the Park that will accept cash including lots at OST, 610 and Reed Road.
  • All transactions will be cashless in the Champion Wine Garden, presented by Frost Bank . Guests may use their debit or credit cards for any purchases.
  • The majority of stands in NRG Center, NRG Stadium and NRG Arena will be cashless.
  • The Carnival, presented by First Community, will accept cash and card.

TOPO CHICO HARD SELTZER’S BACKYARD

Our oasis is your oasis! Come unwind at Topo Chico Hard Seltzer’s Backyard! Enjoy hard seltzer + beer in one of our lounge areas or stop by for music, giveaways, and photo-ops. Open to all Rodeo guests before and after daily RODEOHOUSTON performances. Topo Chico Hard Seltzer’s Backyard is located on the East side of the Astrodome, near the Junction!

MILLER TIME BAR

Tastes Like Miller Time! Come hang out at Miller Time Bar with The Official Beer of Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Our public beer garden is the perfect spot to enjoy a beer with friends before and after daily RODEOHOUSTON performances. Rodeo guests can enjoy music, seated areas, yard games, giveaways, and Instagram-worthy photo opportunities. Miller Time Bar is located on the north side of NRG Stadium, near the McNee entry and Coca Cola gate.

GEAR UP FOR RODEO WITH COCA-COLA

This year you have the chance to gear up with some limited-edition, Rodeo-themed merchandise at the Coca-Cola Ice House! All you have to do is save up your Coca-Cola bottle caps and visit the Ice House to exchange for some exclusive Rodeo swag. The Coca-Cola Ice House is located between NRG Stadium and NRG Astrodome and is open daily.

SUNDAY BRUNCH AT THE CHAMPION WINE GARDEN, PRESENTED BY FROST BANK

The Champion Wine Garden, presented by Frost Bank will host a themed brunch each Sunday morning during the Show. The brunch will be held from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. with special entertainment and culinary brunch-style delights from different food trucks each week. Bubble Flights will only be offered during the weekly brunch. Visit the Champion Wine Garden for a half pour of 4 different sparkling wines from around the world – Italy, California, Tasmania and Champagne. Taste the nuances from the specific terroir of each unique area, then choose your favorite from the flight and stay for a bottle with your friends!

 RODEO

WOMEN’S BREAKAWAY

Women’s breakaway roping will now be held 20 consecutive nights of RODEOHOUSTON, Feb. 28 – March 19, 2023. Women’s breakaway roping, sanctioned by the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) debuted at RODEOHOUSTON in 2022, and was previously held for seven performances.

WILD CARD ROUNDS

RODEOHOUSTON will split its previous one-day Wild Card round into a two-day event, eliminating the RODEOHOUSTON Super Shootout from the schedule

  • Wild Card round 1 will be held Friday, March 17
  • Wild Card round 2 will be held Saturday, March 18
  • The money from RODEOHOUSTON’s previous one-day Super Shootout event will now be redistributed toward the RODEOHOUSTON Super Series purse.

NEW LOCAL QUALIFIERS

RODEOHOUSTON will add two new local qualifiers, the Fort Bend County Fair and Rodeo in Rosenberg, Texas, and the Waller County Fair & Rodeo in Hempstead, Texas, replacing the former qualifier, Sandhills Stock Show & Rodeo in Odessa, Texas. Champions in each of the approved eight events, from each respective Rodeo, will be extended an invitation to compete at RODEOHOUSTON in 2023.

Park & Ride tickets for the Monroe (8833 ½ Gulf Fwy. I-45) and West Loop (4675 S. Braeswood) Park & Ride locations will be available for purchase online at rodeohouston.com.

  • Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023: Opening Day presented by Texas Capital Bank
    • Special giveaways will include custom-made Howdy bobbleheads for the first 10,000 paying guests, beginning at 10 a.m.
    • There will be a variety of activities planned throughout the day.
    • The Opening Day Parade starts at noon on the grounds of NRG Park.
    • Enjoy a performance by the Suffers at 2 p.m. on the The Junction Stage, followed by the Chinedu Comedy Show at 4 p.m.
    • Texas native, Parker McCollum will perform on the RODEOHOUSTON® stage.
    • And starting at 7:30 p.m., join us for a Glow Party in the Champion Wine Garden, presented by Frost Bank. Wear your favorite glow in the dark accessories or pick up a giveaway item to glow crazy while sipping award-winning wines.
    • The Champion Wine Garden will also have music by The Powell Brothers on the Main Stage or Randy Burghardt on the Lone Star Stage.
