The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo today announced that Clint Pasche will join the organization as chief marketing officer, bringing extensive experience in marketing, leadership, organizational positioning, communications and brand strategy at a pivotal time for the organization.
“Clint brings the strategic perspective, leadership and deep understanding of Houston that will be critical as we continue to strengthen the Rodeo’s brand and expand the reach of our mission,” said Chris Boleman, president and CEO of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. “As we look ahead, we have an opportunity to tell our story in new ways, deepen our connection with audiences across Houston and beyond and elevate the year-round impact. Clint understands what the Rodeo means to Houston and the significance of the chapter ahead as we begin building toward the future with The Farm. We are excited to have him help shape how we communicate that growth and engage the community along the way.”
Pasche joins the Rodeo from the Greater Houston Partnership, where he serves as chief marketing and communications officer and leads the organization’s marketing, communications, brand and reputation strategy. His career spans sports and entertainment, business and civic leadership, with experience in brand positioning, executive communications, media relations, public affairs, digital strategy and crisis communications.
Before rejoining the Partnership in 2017, Pasche served as executive and financial communications director at LyondellBasell and previously spent nine seasons with the Houston Astros, rising to director of marketing and brand strategy. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and a Master of Science in sports management from Texas A&M University and completed the Rice Advanced Management Program at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business.
“As a native Houstonian, joining the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo at this moment is an incredible opportunity,” said Pasche. “For generations, the Rodeo has been a place where families create memories together. As someone who is deeply family-focused, that means a great deal to me. The Rodeo blends agriculture, education, Western heritage, entertainment and service in a way that is uniquely Houston. I’m honored to join the team and look forward to building on that legacy, inviting more families to be part of the Rodeo’s story and the young Texans it supports.”
As chief marketing officer, Pasche will provide strategic leadership to the Rodeo’s marketing team, providing the vision, guidance and support needed to tell the Rodeo’s story, build meaningful connections with the community and elevate its mission as the organization moves into its next chapter. He will oversee marketing, communications, merchandise and social media with the goal of helping strengthen the organization’s connection with fans, volunteers, donors, partners and the broader community.
The appointment comes at a pivotal time for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo as it prepares to celebrate its 95th season in 2027 and continues investing in the organization’s long-term future. That includes The Farm, a landmark livestock and agricultural complex along Highway 288 that will expand the Rodeo’s year-round presence and create new opportunities to advance its mission in agriculture and education. Since 1932, the Rodeo has committed more than $660 million to Texas youth and education.
Pasche will officially join the Rodeo as chief marketing officer in mid-December.
