On Tuesday night, the top four athletes in each event from Semifinals 1 locked in their spots for Saturday’s Championship round.
Semifinalists compete in a high‑stakes round, with only the top four athletes in each event advancing directly to Saturday’s Championship. The remaining six contestants in each event will move to one of two Wild Card rounds for another opportunity to qualify.
Stetson Wright, a 10-time PRCA World Champion and newly minted Championship-round qualifier, shared his grounded approach to competing in multiple events.
“I just try to take it one horse, one bull at a time,” Wright said. “And when I get ’em rode, I usually end up where I want to be, so I’m just going to keep on riding.”

For those who did not place in the top four of their semifinal, they will have one more opportunity to secure a spot in the Championship through the Wild Card rounds.
Erin Johnson sees it as a second chance to stay in the competition.
“I think it’s an awesome opportunity to kind of rope your way back in,” said Johnson.
Path to the Championship
These champions will advance to Saturday’s Championship round, where they will compete for one of rodeo’s most prestigious titles. Additional athletes will continue their journey in the Wild Card rounds, where only the top athlete in each event will earn the final remaining spots in the Championship.
