TAs Super Series III concludes, the athletes are more eager than ever to make it to their shot at $50,000.

TIE-DOWN ROPING
The competition in the tie-down roping had a slow start, but Corey Solomon came out fast, securing himself a spot in the semifinals after a tough first two rounds of Super Series III.
“I just had to do my job,” said Solomon. “The calves are strong, and I wanted to give myself a chance to come back.”
Advancing to the Semifinal Round:

BAREBACK RIDING
Skilled bareback rider, Kaycee Feild, hangs on to the top spot and sweeps the Super Series III title.

TEAM ROPING
The team of Marcus Theriot, and Cole Curry did not let the competition full of world champions spook them, as they stay consistent throughout the three rounds to win Super Series III, and advance to the semifinals.

SADDLE BRONC RIDING
The success continued with saddle-bronc rider Logan Hay, as he continued to show that he is here for the long-run.
“I am really confident going into the semifinals,” said Hay. “This is my third time at RODEOHOUSTON® and my first time to the semifinals, so I am excited and ready to go.”

STEER WRESTLING
Clayton Hass maintains determined and clinches the Super Series III title in steer wrestling.

BARREL RACING
After consistent and speedy runs, barrel racing veteran, Stevi Hillman, locked in her spot to the semifinals for a chance to win big at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
“I give all the credit to God and my horse,” said Hillman.

BREAKAWAY ROPING
The Angelone sisters rack up in the breakaway roping, as Sarah Angelone wins the Super Series III Championship and her sister, Martha Angelone, wins Second in Super Series III.

BULL RIDING 
After a successful ride during round one of Super Series III, Jeff Askey was able to come out on top during round three to make sure he appears back at RODEOHOUSTON® during the semifinals.
 “I am not coordinated at all, but bull riding is all about action and reaction,” said Askey.
Advancing to the Semifinal Round:

The top four from each event in Semifinal I and II will advance to the RODEOHOUSTON Super Series Championship, Sunday, March 19. The remaining six from each event in the semifinal will compete in the two Wild Card Rounds, Friday, March 17, and Saturday, March 18, where the top two from each event will advance to the Championship. Each event champion will walk away with a $50,000 payout, in addition to previous winnings.
