For nearly [95] years, Houston has brought together people from across our state to celebrate the history, heritage, and the legend of Texas through this world-class Rodeo. Thank you [to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo] for celebrating the agricultural traditions that have made Texas the legendary land of freedom and opportunity.

Greg Abbott

Dan Patrick

For 95 years, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has done things right. Today, we’re making a statement that Houston, our region, and our state, are strong and getting stronger. We are heading in the right direction. On behalf of Houstonians and our region, thank you for your contributions to make Houston such a great city.

John Whitmire

Mayor of Houston

the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has brought the best of small-town USA to one of the biggest stages. This new agricultural complex, as a year-round destination will take ag education, youth development initiatives, and community engagement to a whole new level. I cannot wait to see [this new agricultural complex] built and to see it cement Houston as the premier destination for major agricultural and educational events for decades to come.

Brooke Rollins

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture

While the first shovels of dirt mark the beginning of a new chapter, the foundation we are laying is rooted in nearly a century of service to Texas youth, agriculture and our community. The Farm’s groundbreaking represents an extraordinary investment in the future of our mission. It will serve as the setting for countless life-changing moments as we continue to advance our work year-round and strengthen our impact for generations to come.

Wesley Sinor

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Chairman of the Board

What we break ground on today is not simply a complex or a few buildings. It is a promise to the exhibitor who has never had a stage like this, to the vocational student whose path looks different but matters just as much, and to the next generation of Texans who will find their footing right here.

Pat Mann Phillips

Former Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Chairman of the Board

The Farm tells the story of who we are. It represents the roots that have grounded this organization for generations and the future we’re helping build for those who will follow. Every student, exhibitor, volunteer and agricultural leader who walks this property will see a name that reflects our mission and reminds us why we do this work. It is a reflection of our purpose, our people and our promise to continue advancing agriculture, education and opportunity across Texas.
