Two sets of brothers will be roping together in the Team Roping event. Roping with family members can be tough, especially with the pressure of RODEOHOUSTON, but rewards are sweeter when you keep it in the family. - Brand New Ride
Athlete: Shane Hanchey
The 2011 RODEOHOUSTON Champ is riding a young new horse this season in Tie-Down Roping. Shane said his 5 year-old gelding doesn’t act like a young horse. This would be a huge accomplishment for him and his horse to take another title. - Hometown Heroes
Athlete: Bradlee Miller
This Bareback Riding cowboy was a student at Sam Houston State University where his dad, Bubba, was his rodeo coach. Winning RODEOHOUSTON woudl be a huge step in getting Bradlee to his first National Finals Rodeo.
