The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Ranching and Wildlife Auction was held Friday, March 10, in NRG Center. Live, silent and big board auction items raised nearly $380,000.

The live auction featured 20 lots comprised of items including a John Deere Sub-Compact Utility Tractor, a luxury home in Park City, Utah, a golf cart and a turkey hunt in the mountains of Durango, Mexico, among others.

For the duration of the live auction, buyers also had the chance to walk around and bid on the big board items on display: ice chests and hunting gear, fine jewelry and accessories, autographed memorabilia, and more.

The Ranching and Wildlife Expo runs March 7–11 in NRG Center. The purpose of the expo is to enhance educational programs involved with the promotion of conservation and co-existence of ranching and wildlife habitats.
