Quilt Contest Entry Requirements
Entry is open to quilters residing in the following Texas counties affiliated with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. View the full list of eligible counties below.
Anderson, Angelina, Aransas, Austin, Bastrop, Bee, Bell, Bosque, Brazoria, Brazos, Burleson, Caldwell, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Colorado, Comanche, Coryell, DeWitt, Falls, Fayette, Fort Bend, Freestone, Galveston, Goliad, Gonzales, Gregg, Grimes, Hamilton, Hardin, Harris, Harrison, Henderson, Hill, Houston, Jackson, Jasper, Jefferson, Karnes, Lampasas, Lavaca, Lee, Leon, Liberty, Limestone, Live Oak, Madison, Matagorda, McLennan, Milam, Mills, Montgomery, Nacogdoches, Navarro, Newton, Nueces, Orange, Panola, Polk, Refugio, Robertson, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, San Jacinto, San Patricio, Shelby, Smith, Trinity, Tyler, Victoria, Walker, Waller, Washington, Wharton, and Williamson.
Entry Categories
Exhibitors must submit an online entry form. Quilts dropped off or mailed to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo without a completed entry form will not be judged.
Individual Exhibitor
Individual quilter residing in one of the eligible Texas counties.
Area Go Texan Representative
Official representative of an Area Go Texan county or Metro Go Texan subcommittee.
Adult Division
Adult exhibitors may enter quilts in one of the subdivisions listed below.
*Mixed technique includes any technique not covered in other specific categories.

Important Dates for Exhibitors
Quilts accepted must be received in the Rodeo offices by the specified deadline; a tracking method is advised, as questions regarding receipt of quilts will not be acknowledged. All quilts will be return shipped or available for pick-up following the conclusion of the contest.

Quilt Submission Instructions
Quilts may be delivered in person or mailed to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo offices. Please follow the instructions below.
Drop-Off Submissions

| Office Hours | Monday–Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. |
| Gate Entry | Enter via Gate 10 (Kirby & McNee). Tell the guard you are dropping off a quilt entry to avoid parking charges. |
| Parking | Guest Parking or Red Lot 4 |
| Office Access | Second floor of NRG Center near the Hall E lobby. Use the escalator or elevator closest to Hall E; offices are midway down the hall behind the double wooden doors. |
