The 2024 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo All Breeds Sales took place on Wednesday, February 28 at the NRG Arena.  Over 264 buyers in attendance and via the internet registered to buy cattle.  53 bulls and 436 females from some of the industry’s most renowned breeders were sold to 71 buyers from Georgia, Louisiana, and Texas. The sale grossed $1,820,350.00.

Prior to the sale, a group of qualified cattlemen and industry professionals evaluated the bulls and females with champions selected.

The Overall High Grading & High Selling Bull was a Registered Hereford consigned by Austin & Blayke Breeding of Miami, Texas.  B&C Mighty Option 2296K sold for $13,000 to the Schwartz Family’s Triple S Cattle Company of Brenham, Texas.

The Overall Champion & High Selling Pen of Females was consigned by Texas Oaks Cattle Ranch of Brenham, Texas.  This pen of five Hereford X Santa Gertrudis Females with Angus sired calves brought $5,700/head and sold to Dale Fritz of Bryan, Texas.

The All Breeds Livestock Sales Committee of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo conducted the sales.  The Committee is grateful to its contributors who provide funds for exhibitor premiums, hospitality for buyers and sellers, and overall expense defrayment.
