Rodeo Run

Run for a cause! Proceeds from the event benefit the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ Educational Fund. The 2017 Rodeo Run had more than 9,500 participants in the wheelchair race, 10K race and 5K fun run/walk. Since 1988, nearly $5 million has been contributed to the Rodeo.

How to Participate

Post Race Party

Participants and supporters are invited to Eleanor Tinsley Park after the race for a fun celebration of the morning's race and supporting the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Educational Fund. The Family Fun Zone will have food, entertainment and more.

Course Map

The race starts at the corner of Walker and Bagby and ends on Allen Parkway near Eleanor Tinsley Park for the post-race party.

On race day, plan to come around 8:40 a.m. to the corner of Lamar and Bagby to stage for the start line. See map below for details. The start line is Walker and Bagby.

Public parking garages in the downtown Houston area and the Theater District are available to participants. Please prepare for each garage to have its own parking fees. Surface lot parking is also available throughout downtown for a fee.
