RODEOHOUSTON Wildcard 2 is underway, and the daysheet is out. Check out the top headlines of the round that kicks off March 22 at 2:45 p.m.

  1. Leighton BerryBareback Riding
Leighton has been in our headlines before, but this time the stakes are even higher. He has a one in six chance of advancing to Sunday if he wants to defend his title for a third straight year. Leighton will be trying to win an even bigger payout in 2025 with the top prize being $65,000 to the Champion.
  2. Sawyer GilbertBreakaway Roping
Sawyer finds herself in the wild card wanting to win here and get closer to her second world title. Her first gold buckle came in 2021 when she also won the NFR average. Winning in Houston gives her the boost she needs to make her dream of buckle number two that much more realistic.
  3. Trey Benton IIIBull Riding
Trey is a veteran cowboy that would love to add a RodeoHouston championship to his cache of rodeo titles and prizes. He has qualified to the NFR seven times, but the Richards, TX native would love nothing more than to bring the bull riding buckle back to the state  of Texas. A big ride in the wildcard would be a major step in the right direction for TB3.
