RODEOHOUSTON Super Series V is underway, and the daysheet is out for Round 1. Check out the top headlines of the round that kicks off March 16 at 2:45 p.m.

  1. Shad MayfieldTie Down Roping
Shad just won his second World Championship, this one being an all-around title to add with his 2020 tie down gold buckle. Adding a win here in Houston would be a prize he has yet to claim in his young but strong career.
  2. Ryder Wright Saddle Bronc Riding
Tyler is a veteran World Champion that can still hang with the kids. The six time NFR qualifier started with a paycheck in Round 1, still trying to catch the elusive title in Houston.
  3. Hali Williams – Breakaway Roping
Hali started off 2023 by winning RODEOHOUSTON, which helped her qualify to her first NFR. She now comes in as a two time NFR qualifier hoping to win again and contend for her first world championship.
