RODEOHOUSTON® has revealed the 2026 entertainer lineup, showcasing a dynamic slate of globally recognized artists and breakout acts set to take over NRG Stadium, March 2–22.
“We strive to bring Houston the very best in live entertainment, and the 2026 lineup raises that standard once again,” said Chris Boleman, president and CEO of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. “From chart-topping newcomers to artists making their long-awaited return after nearly 20 years, this year’s lineup is truly a reflection of both our Western roots and the vibrant footprint of the Houston community.”
Nine new artists will make their star stage debut in 2026, including Russell Dickerson, Lizzo, Forrest Frank, Megan Moroney, Creed, Shaboozey, Pepe Aguilar, Red Clay Strays and Koe Wetzel.
Two artists are among the longtime returning performers, including Luke Bryan and Tim McGraw. This will mark McGraw’s 11th performance and Bryan’s 13th. Bryan is one of the eleven artists with a distinguished Star Trail of Fame induction, which he received in 2025. After two decades, three entertainers are set to return to RODEOHOUSTON: Dwight Yoakam (last appeared in 2004), Kelly Clarkson (2004), and Cross Canadian Ragweed (2006). Riley Green will return for his second consecutive year, following an award-winning run for his duet, “You Look Like You Love Me.”
Four female artists will perform in 2026, including Lizzo, Megan Moroney, Kelly Clarkson and Lainey Wilson. For the third year in a row, the lineup will include two Latin artists, J Balvin and Pepe Aguilar. Aguilar is among the new performers and has become one of the most influential figures in regional Mexican music, including mariachi. He will take the star stage on Go Tejano Day, presented by Fiesta Mart, immediately after the Go Tejano Mariachi Invitational Championship, sponsored by Miller Lite inside NRG Stadium.
On Jan. 7, 2026, Multiplatinum country music artist, Russell Dickerson surprised fans with an unforgettable pop-up performance in Times Square, securing his spot as the second entertainer announced for the 2026 RODEOHOUSTON lineup. Dickerson performed alongside a full band in front of thousands of people at the iconic Manhattan location. Cody Johnson will perform on the 21st day with openers Jon Pardi and Randy Houser. Johnson’s concert-only performance is set for Sunday, March 22. This marks the fourth concert-only performance at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and the first since George Strait performed on the final night in 2022. There is no rodeo scheduled before the Cody Johnson concert, however, all activities on the grounds, including shopping and dining areas, carnival, livestock and horse show competitions and other exhibits and attractions at NRG Park, will be open to the public on Sunday, March 22.
