The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is proud to announce the renewal of its partnership with Energy Transfer, extending through the 2028 Rodeo season as the official Saddle Bronc Riding sponsor. Energy Transfer first joined the Rodeo as Saddle Bronc sponsor in 2019 and this renewed commitment highlights a strong and growing relationship between the two organizations.

Energy Transfer is one of the largest midstream energy companies headquartered in Dallas, with more than 2,000 employees in Houston. Energy Transfer operates one of the largest networks of pipelines, storage and terminal facilities in the United States.

“Saddle Bronc riding is one of RODEOHOUSTON®’s most tradition-rich and exciting events, and continuing this partnership with Energy Transfer ensures competitors and fans alike will benefit from this world-class experience,” said Chris Boleman, president and CEO of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. “We are grateful for Energy Transfer’s dedication to our mission and to the athletes who compete on our rodeo’s biggest stage.”

As one of the cornerstone events of the RODEOHOUSTON Super Series, Saddle Bronc is part of an expanded payout structure announced in 2025, a historic and unprecedented increase that raises total athlete winnings to $2.5 million. Saddle Bronc is a marquee discipline that blends athleticism, precision and horsemanship, and its champions have long been recognized among the sport’s elite competitors.

Energy Transfer’s sponsorship renewal strengthens its continued support for rodeo athletes while deepening its engagement with the Greater Houston community and beyond. In addition, this renewal helps support the Rodeo’s world-class experience and its $500,000 commitment to vocational scholarships to Greater Houston area students.

“We are proud to continue our long-standing partnership with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo as the Official Saddle Bronc Sponsor,” said Vicki Granado, the vice president of PR & Communications. “The Rodeo’s commitment to giving back is unmatched, and we value the opportunity to help provide meaningful opportunities for Texas youth through education and scholarships. We are especially pleased this year to direct a portion of our sponsorship dollars to fulfill a vocational school scholarship for a deserving student.”
