Howdy
We’re thrilled you’re interested in becoming an official content creator for RODEOHOUSTON! Our credential program is designed for creators who share our passion for agriculture, education, Western heritage, and world-class entertainment — and who want to share that story with their audiences.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
We Welcome Creators Who:
- Consistently produce high-quality, original content
- Have an engaged audience in relevant categories such as Western lifestyle, agriculture, music, fashion, food, family, and travel
- Can authentically align with our mission and voice
- Are 18 years of age or older (or applying with a legal guardian if under 18)
WHAT YOU'LL GET
- Official content creator credentials with access to select areas of the event
- Media resources (rules/guidelines, schedules) to help plan your coverage
- Opportunities to capture exclusive moments and behind-the-scenes experiences (pending approval)
- Direct contact with our team for assistance during the event
WHAT WE EXPECT
- Professional conduct at all times while onsite
- Brand alignment — Content should reflect the family-friendly, community-focused nature of our event
- Content delivery — Share your coverage during the event and submit links/files to our team within 7 days after your credentialed date(s)
- Proper tagging — Tag official RODEOHOUSTON accounts in all relevant posts
- Non-transferable credentials — They may not be shared or loaned
APPLICATION TIPS
- Provide your most relevant social channels and engagement stats
- Include examples of past event coverage
- Outline a clear plan for the type of content you intend to create
- If you are collaborating with other brands or creators during RODEOHOUSTON, disclose them in your application
Important Policies
- Credentials grant access for content creation only and do not include meet-and-greet privileges, VIP seating, or backstage access unless explicitly approved
- We reserve the right to limit or deny access to certain areas for safety, privacy, or operational reasons
- Drone use is prohibited while at NRG Park
- Violation of guidelines may result in immediate revocation of credentials
Important Dates for Applicants
Stay on top of the credential process with these key milestones. Selected creators will receive pick-up instructions after acceptance. Make sure to submit your application before the deadline to be considered.
