Super Series III wrapped up with a strong lineup of contestants punching their tickets to the Semifinals. The level of competition is getting more intense as the road to the Championship continues.

Riley Webb, a 21-year-old tie-down roper, seized the RODEOHOUSTON® guitar, winning  Super Series III with a time of 8.2 seconds. “There is going to be ups and downs, but you have to trust the process and keep your head down and keep grinding, “Webb said.

Team ropers Dustin Egusquiza and Levi Lord topped the leaderboard at Super Series III, moving on to the Semifinals. “All dreams are possible, whatever you want to do in life, just set your mind to it,” Egusquiza said.

Using his fast reflexes and unmatched strength, Cash Robb, steer wrestler, claimed victory tonight during Super Series III. “Work hard and believe in yourself,” Robb said. “No one can control what you do except for yourself.”

With a time of 3.1 seconds, Aspen Miller, a breakaway roping star, emerged as the front-runner in  Super Series III, allowing her another chance to showcase her roping proficiency. “Stay patient, trust the process, and don’t ever give up,” Miller said.

Six-time NFR qualifier Emily Beisel clocked a14.76 second run to secure her spot in the Semifinals, crediting much of her win to her horse Chewy. “This mare is truly incredible,” Beisel said. “I am so fortunate to be her jockey, and I just needed to let her do her job.”

Bull rider, Trevor Reiste, credits much of his win to the energetic crowd and environment. “The crowd definitely played a part,” Reiste said. “It puts a little more pressure on you to do well.”

Saddle bronc rider Ben Anderson faced a tough horse but delivered a standout performance. “I’ve been on that horse a lot, and she’s a cool horse,” Anderson said. “She’s kind of hard to get out on, but once she bails out of there, it’s kind of a little rodeo itself.”

Dean Thompson, the 2024 National Finals Rodo (NFR) bareback world champion, knew heading into his ride that he was bound for the semifinals. “The horse’s name was Pop a Top, and the whole time I was just getting ready to pop the top,” Thompson said. “I knew that win or lose I was coming back, so I may as well let it all hang out to try and win the guitar.”

The RODEOHOUSTON Super Series IV starts Thursday, March 13 at 6:45 p.m. in NRG Stadium.
