TIE-DOWN ROPING 
Tie-down roper, Riley Webb took home the title of RODEOHOUSTON Super Series Champion with a time of 8.9 seconds. This was Webb’s first year competing at RODEOHOUSTON®.
 
“I am so excited to be able to win my first time here at RODEOHOUSTON, especially because it’s one of the biggest rodeos in the world,” Webb said.

Coming off of a win in the RODEOHOUSTON® Super Series Semifinals, Leighton Berry continued his success and captured the champion title during the RODEOHOUSTON Super Series Championship with a score of 90.

Rhen Richard and Jeremy Buhler won big at the RODEOHOUSTON Super Series Championship with a time of 5.8 seconds. Richard and Buhler have been partners for four years.

“This is why I do it, competing against the best at one of the biggest rodeos,” Buhler said.

Sage Newman was seeing double after his back-to-back wins at RODEOHOUSTON. Newman’s score of 90 secured the victory for the Montana cowboy.
 
“It’s unbelievable,” Newman said. “This is a great rodeo, you can’t beat the crowd or the money here so to be a repeat is great.”

STEER WRESTLING
Dalton Massey wrestled the steer to victory, winning the RODEOHOUSTON Super Series Championship with a time of 4.5 seconds.

After an intense night of bull riding, Ky Hamilton came out on top to take home the RODEOHOUSTON Super Series Championship title. The Australian cowboy scored a 90.5 to secure the victory.

The top four from each event, from each Super Series advanced to a Semifinal Round. The top four from each event in the Semifinal rounds will advance to the RODEOHOUSTON Super Series Championship, Sunday, March 19. The remaining six from each event in the two semifinals will compete in the Wild Card Rounds, Friday, March 17, and Saturday, March 18, where the winner from each event will advance to the Championship.
