Show Updates Effective March 10, 2021
We are rounding out the first week of our 2021 Junior Livestock Show and are excited to see our participants back at NRG Park.

As a follow-up to our email on Wednesday, we wanted to provide some updates regarding the Show, effective March 10. Our goals for the 2021 Show remain unchanged: to promote a safe and healthy environment for our exhibitors, volunteers and staff, and to ensure that all of our exhibitors are able to compete in the 2021 events.

NRG Park will continue to require a face covering for all guests throughout the duration of our Show.

  • All individuals, including exhibitors, guests, Rodeo staff and volunteers, will still be required to wear face coverings during these events at NRG Park.
  • Exhibitors must wear a face covering while exhibiting in the show ring.
  • Individuals may lower their face covering while:
    • socially distanced from others in the Show designated camping areas and cattle stalls
    • seated amongst your exhibitor or family group in marked seating areas in the stands
    • Masks are still highly encouraged in all areas.
  • All previously announced health and safety guidelines are still in place, including the COVID-19 pre-screening form and temperature checks at the gate.

Please respect your fellow exhibitors, as COVID-19 continues to be present in our community. Following these protocols will provide the best opportunity to successfully complete each of our competitions. Please keep in mind that many businesses and hotels will have health and safety guidelines, including face covering requirements, social distancing, etc.

While our March events will remain private, each entry in our Junior Livestock Show, judging contests at NRG Park, Agricultural Mechanics and Archery competitions held on and after March 10 will receive one additional wristband issued with the packet pick up/check-in process.

TOTAL WRISTBANDS
  • Livestock Shows: exhibitor + 2 guests = 3 total wristbands
  • Ag Mechanics: 3 exhibitors + 2 guests = 5 total wristbands
  • Archery: exhibitor + 2 guests = 3 total wristbands
  • Judging Contests at NRG Park: 4 exhibitors + 2 guests = 6 total wristbands

We are excited for the remainder of our 2021 Junior Livestock Show. Together, we can do our part to ensure that all exhibitors are able to participate in the 2021 competitions.
