Hi there! My name is Howdy, and I am the official mascot of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. I am a proud native Houstonian, born and raised right inside the 610 loop. Although I am an inner-looper, I love venturing out to visit my friends all over Texas. Like a true Texan, I am cowboy at heart, and ever since I was a lowercase h, I have dressed in a cowboy hat and boots to show my Western pride. My job is to celebrate all of the awesome things that the Rodeo does and to make all of the friends that I can. I have to say it’s not a bad gig for a capital H!
