The Show currently has approximately 19,000 volunteer positions on more than 90 different committees. Volunteers work in every facet of the Show, including the livestock show, horse show, commercial exhibits, transportation, auctions, membership sales and ticket sales.

Show members who would like to be considered for committee appointment should complete a Committee Request Card and return it to the Membership Office. The committee chairman or a representative of the requested committee will contact the applicant if there is an opening. Committee volunteers must be at least 21 years of age.

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo volunteers who are Corral Club members have access to two private Corral Clubs:

• Committeemen's Room – Reliant Center
• Stockman's Club – Reliant Arena
