Musical Entertainment

Tim McGraw

Monday, March 3, 6:45 p.m., Reliant Stadium

In 1993, Tim McGraw debuted his first album, “Tim McGraw.” Throughout his career, he has released nine albums which have produced 25 No. 1 singles and sold 33 million copies. He has become so wildly popular that a new young country artist has even released a single titled, “Tim McGraw.” This “Indian Outlaw” grew up in Louisiana and had a love for sports and music. McGraw’s successful career is evidenced by the many music industry awards he has picked up along the way, including two GRAMMY® Awards. McGraw is married to country music sweetheart Faith Hill. He has even made his way to the big screen, with roles in “Friday Night Lights” and “Flicka.”

Singles: “Last Dollar (Fly Away),” “If You’re Reading This,” “Live Like You Were Dying,” “Drugs or Jesus,” “The Cowboy in Me,” “Angry All the Time,” “Indian Outlaw,” “Refried Dreams”

Trent Willmon

Monday, March 3, 10:15 p.m., The Hideout, Reliant Astrodome

In a perfect world, an honest, singing cowboy would never have to choose between the stage and the steed, or the honky-tonk and the roping pen. Trent Willmon did just that when he stepped onto the stages of dancehalls and honky-tonks around Texas. Gaining notice with the single “On Again Tonight,” the West Texas native follows up a promising debut album with “A Little More Livin’.” It swaggers with the kind of assured confidence that, true to its title, can only come from experience. The man who’s heroes have always been cowboys and guitar players is sure to pack The Hideout!

Faith Hill

Tuesday, March 4, 6:45 p.m., Reliant Stadium

Faith Hill says she found her passion growing up in Star, Miss., but she followed her heart to Nashville to sing. Her first single, “Wild One,” was released in 1993. Since then, she’s gone on to sell more than 30 million records and has celebrated 11 number one singles. With five GRAMMY® Awards under her belt and a slew of other music industry awards, this powerful, sultry singer is the only female artist to celebrate three consecutive album debuts atop both Billboard’s Top 200 Album Chart and Country Chart: “Breathe,” “Cry” and “Fireflies.” In October, Hill released “The Hits”; she says it’s a privilege to release a greatest hits album.

Singles: “Red Umbrella,” “Mississippi Girl,” “Stealing Kisses,” “The Lucky One,” “Cry,” “There You’ll Be,” “Breathe,” “If My Heart Had Wings,” “This Kiss”

Katie Armiger

Tuesday, March 4, 10:15 p.m., The Hideout, Reliant Astrodome

The self-titled debut album from 16-year-old Katie Armiger showcases a distinctive vocal talent with inspiration from greats like Wynonna, Martina McBride and Sara Evans. The Houston-area native has been singing before she could walk, and it shows in a beyond-her-years vocal talent. Katie won her division in 93Q Country’s “Houston’s Best Country Singer” contest two years ago, and it jump-started her career. With songs that range from a must-have breakup song to inspirational ballads, Katie Armiger will have The Hideout rocking!
