Can’t Get Enough Rascal Flatts

Rascal Flatts (2001, ’05, ’08) is one of the top groups in country music today. The group took home two honors at the 34th annual People's Choice Awards on Tuesday, Jan. 8. The group won favorite group, and the hit "Stand" was named favorite country song.

The award-winning trio also will host the fifth annual ACM Celebrity Golf Classic to benefit the ACM Charitable Fund on March 17, in Las Vegas, Nev., just six days after performing at 2008 RODEOHOUSTON. Part of the events leading up to the 43rd annual ACM Awards, the Celebrity Golf Classic will give a preview of nominees, presenters and past award winners all playing for charity.

Downtown Rodeo Roundup

The Houston General Go Texan and Western Heritage Community Challenge committees are organizing Rodeo Roundup, to be held Feb. 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., on the steps of Houston City Hall, with Houston Mayor Bill White and Harris County Judge Ed Emmett proclaiming Go Texan Days and the official kickoff of the 2008 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Volunteers from several committees, as well as Show officials, will be on-hand to help kick off the 2008 year!


The Garden Entertainers

The Garden, located in the center of World's Championship Bar-B-Que Contest, provides live music with room for dancing all three days of the contest.
