Reliant Events and Promotions

For the 11th year, Reliant is a proud Heritage Partner of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Throughout this year's Show, Reliant is hosting a variety of activities, promotions and sweepstakes that will be available to all attendees.

Scheduled events include:

Energy Boost Ticket Giveaway Tables

Each day Reliant will give away tickets to RODEOHOUSTON performances. Be on the lookout for Reliant tents set up on the northeast side (near the Rodeo Uncorked! Champion Wine Garden) and southeast side (across from the 100.3 KILT Carnival) of Reliant Stadium for your chance to sign up and win. Everyone will walk away with a T-shirt. Reliant will be on-site from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 3 p.m. on weekends.

Text Campaign

While at the Show, keep your eyes peeled around the grounds and in Reliant Stadium for keywords to text to 78307 for your chance to win an instant daily prize and learn how to be entered to win the Grand Prize of a trip for two to Las Vegas to the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards!

Pre-Concert Show

As the lights dim before the concert, join Reliant in giving a warm welcome to the performer by bringing the energy and cheering! Enjoy the laser and pyro show while measuring the excitement on the Reliant energy meter.

Train Wrap

Travel to the Rodeo on the light rail and catch a glimpse of Reliant on the train wrap. In addition to the wrap, Reliant will offer riders free fares on Black Heritage Day, March 2 and Go Tejano Day, March 11.

Energy Pics

Make a great keepsake at the Show by getting your picture taken at one of the Reliant Photo Booths located in Capital One Bank AGVENTURE inside of Hall B in Reliant Center or behind section 106 in Reliant Stadium. Redeem your picture online and have the opportunity to customize your photo with various rodeo-themed backgrounds, then upload your picture to Facebook or Twitter to show your friends!

Daily Social Ticket Giveaway

Head to the Reliant Facebook page to enter into the Reliant Daily Rodeo Ticket Giveaway. Reliant will give out pairs of tickets on select RODEOHOUSTON performances. Visit www.facebook.com/ReliantEnergy for your chance to win!

Wristband Giveaway

Attend the March 14 RODEOHOUSTON performance and receive a free glow in the dark bracelet courtesy of Reliant!

Power of Art

Local students in Kindergarten through fifth grade have submitted energy-inspired drawings, which will be displayed at the Hayloft Gallery in Reliant Center and on www.Reliant.com/poa starting March 7. Voting will determine the three winners who will receive money for art supplies at their school courtesy of Reliant. Place your vote to help Reliant pick the winners!

DeLorean Showcase

Reliant is showcasing the electric DeLorean onsite at the Show. While you're walking around the grounds March 2-4, be sure to stop by the showcase on Reliant Parkway, where you can learn more about electric vehicles and charging stations as well as get your picture taken next to the car.

Random Acts of Kindness (R.A.K.)

On March 1, Reliant employees will roam the Show grounds performing Random Acts of Kindness. Acts include, but are not limited to, holding doors open for patrons, distributing napkins, providing hand sanitizer and offering to take photos of you and your group during your visit.

Clint Cannon

Reliant proudly sponsors 2011 RODEOHOUSTON Bareback Champion Clint Cannon, from Waller, Texas. Clint has been a professional rider since 2003. Reliant has partnered with Clint for several years and wishes him luck at RODEOHOUSTON!
