Quick Draw Contest

Participants in the Quick Draw Contest consist of junior high and high school students from school districts and private schools that are registered participants in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo School Art Program. Contestants compete for cash prizes and the chance to attend a Glassell School of Art Workshop. All 12th grade participants receive a college scholarship application.

Each contestant is allowed 50 minutes to sketch on an 11"x14" sheet of art paper in either the Still Life class for junior high students or the Portrait or Full Figure class for high school students.
