Glassell Junior School of Art, Museum of Fine Arts Houston

One-hundred twenty positions are available to students (kindergarten though grade 12) who are Best of Show, Gold Medal and Special Merit winners and who qualify through an application process that is based on the student's academic, extracurricular and artistic success. Applications are distributed to the school district and private school representatives at the district show. The instructional classes meet for two hours per day for one week during the summer or one hour per week for 14 weeks in the fall. Students may choose one session in the summer or fall and the medium they wish to study. Class schedules are available online at www.mfah.org/glassell.
