Through the Show’s School Art programs, students have the opportunity to explore education outside core curriculum. With this program, students have an incentive to think outside the box.
The program provides students, Pre-K through 12th grade, the opportunity to compete in district shows, earn scholarships, travel to summer workshops and display artwork in the Hayloft Gallery for Show visitors to see. Currently, the School Art Program supports 145 different school districts, including private and parochial, in the Houston area. Each year, more than 300,000 entries are received through the School Art Program. Since the program began in 1965, more than 9 million entries have been recorded.
